Together for Girls

Together for Girls (TfG), founded in 2009, is a global partnership dedicated to ending violence against children, especially sexual violence.

The partnership includes six UN agencies and more than 20 countries (covering every continent), and several private sector organisations. One of the most important efforts of TfG has been the promotion of comprehensive Violence Against Children Surveys (VACS), which by 2020 will have been done or be underway in enough countries to provide extensive data on 20 per cent of the world’s children.

This work falls under the Solutions & Advancing Action sub-Programme of our Prevent Child Sexual Abuse Programme, which works to drive forward actions to reduce child sexual abuse and exploitation and scale interventions that accelerate the reduction of child sexual abuse and exploitation.
