(Housing and Homelessness)
Susanne Bjork joined the Housing and Homelessness Programme in December 2017 as a Programme Officer. She oversees projects in New York and Northern Ireland. She has devoted most of her professional career to ending homelessness; the last ten years working for national homelessness charity Crisis helping develop their housing services.
Before joining Oak, she took a year out volunteering working with activists in Palestine, in Serbia with refugees and in Zambia supporting local women’s groups. Susanne is originally from Sweden with a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Malmo University, but has lived in the UK for much of the last 20 years. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, yoga and cooking.
