Programme Officer, Eastern and Central Europe

Presiana Manolova joined Oak Foundation in 2008 as a the Programme Associate for the Child Abuse Programme in Eastern Europe. In 2012, she was promoted to Programme Officer. Together with implementing routine responsibilities of the grant portfolio, such as due diligence, contact with grantees, monitoring and evaluation of grants, Presiana focuses on global and regional grants and national grants in Moldova and Bulgaria.
Prior to joining Oak Foundation, Presiana worked in the non-governmental sector for many years. Between 2003 and 2007, Presiana was a legal advisor on one of the biggest USAID Rule of Law projects in Bulgaria. Additionally, she worked for Partners Bulgaria Foundation as a manager of projects and trainer on juvenile justice, child rights, leaving care and mediation.
Presiana holds has a Masters’s degree in Law from Sofia University.
