Informing the Oak Foundation’s Learning Differences Programme grant-making through research and advising
Public Impact devises and advances visionary but practical ideas about how to improve K–12 education. Its consultants conduct research and provide strategic advice to members of the Oak Foundation Learning Differences team.
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Public Impact's mission is to dramatically improve learning outcomes for all children in the US, with a special focus on students who are not served well. The organisation consists of a team of professionals from many backgrounds, including former teachers. They are researchers, thought leaders, tool-builders, and on-the-ground consultants who work with leading education reformers.
ABOUT THE OAK FUNDED PROJECT
Public Impact supports Oak Foundation’s efforts to stay abreast of the latest trends in public education, investigate topics of interest, and engage in field-building. Consultants draft white papers, conduct due diligence requests, and provide strategic thought partnership to Learning Differences programme officers. They also assist with organising meetings and other ad hoc tasks that foster communication and collaboration among Oak Foundation grantees and partners
