Paul Wishart joined Oak Foundation in 2016 as a Programme Officer for the Housing and Homelessness Programme (HHP). In this role, he oversees HHP grants in Wales and Boston, USA.
Prior to joining Oak Foundation, Paul held a number of managerial positions with local UK authorities to commission and monitor homelessness services. Within these roles, he led a ‘pilot’ authority for a national supported housing programme, which fed directly into developing policies at a central government level. He also was a member of a National Advisory Council for a homelessness campaigning group. Earlier in his career, he worked with hostels, directly supporting young people and those in the wider community who were at risk of homelessness.
Paul has a Bachelor of Science in Housing and Development from the University of the West of England and a Master of Science in Housing from Brookes University, United Kingdom. Paul enjoys running and triathlons and is the proud father of twin girls.
