Grant Spotlight

Terre des Femmes Switzerland (TDF)

To support Terre des Femmes to provide comprehensive and culturally sensitive counselling services and assistance specifically designed for migrant women who are victims of domestic violence living in Bern, Switzerland. Terre des Femmes Switzerland works to prevent human rights violations against women and girls.

TRAG Foundation

To strengthen women's movements and civil society organisations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro. This will be done by administering and expanding the Issues Affecting Women Programme Balkans portfolio of grants that focus on addressing intimate partner violence, anti-trafficking and exploitation and movement building. In addition to providing strong due diligence and reporting on these grants, Trag will provide tailor made capacity building, mentoring and accompaniment to these organisations.

Prospera International Network of Women’s Funds

To provide core support to Prospera International Network of Women’s Funds, enabling it to continue strengthening the work of women’s funds. As the global hub of women’s funds, Prospera seeks to create opportunities for greater collaboration among its members and across sectors, develop technical skills and knowledge, and mobilise resources to strengthen and support women’s funds to realise women’s rights.

openDemocracy

To support the 50.50 platform to raise awareness of critical women’s rights issues, to provide tools that improve implementation of women’s rights and to inform and influence  global policy. By working with a geographically and thematically diverse constituency of authors, the platform aims to empower women, raise their profiles and increase the impact of their work. Oak support will also strengthen the platform’s editorial capacities and improve its learning, monitoring and evaluation system.
