International Human Rights
Nina Spataru joined Oak Foundation in 2016 Programme Associate for the International Human Rights Programme. Her work focuses on impunity for gross human rights abuses, as well as on protection of human rights defenders.
Prior to joining Oak Foundation, Nina worked with NGOs in Moldova, looking at issues around refugee protection, and in the Czech Republic, where she worked on a number of strategic litigation cases relating to juvenile justice, deinstitutionalisation and disability rights.
Nina received her Master in International Development Law and Human Rights from the University of Warwick. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and a Master in Law in International and Institutional Law from the Free International University of Moldova.
