Head Sub-Programme Climate Change
(Environment)
Nathan Argent joined Oak Foundation in 2016 as a Programme Officer for the Environment Programme. In January 2019, he was promoted to the role of Head Sub-Programme Climate Change. He is responsible for the climate and energy portfolios for North America and Europe, as well as working across all programme issues to provide strategic direction to the team. He also manages the relationship with the ClimateWorks and European Climate Foundations.
Prior to joining Oak Foundation, Nathan worked as Head of Energy Solutions, Chief Policy Advisor and Head of Research for Greenpeace UK and New Zealand focusing on solutions to climate change. He has also worked for World Wildlife Fund and the International Fund for Animal Welfare on endangered wildlife conservation, focusing primarily on central and western Africa and Asia.
Nathan has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Management from London Guildhall, United Kingdom, and a Master of Science in Environmental Management from University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
