Mia Vukojević joined Oak Foundation in 2015 as a Programme Officer for the Issues Affecting Women Programme.
Prior to joining Oak Foundation, Mia worked as the Executive Director of Trag Foundation in Serbia and for humanitarian organisations in crises around the world, arriving to Oak from an assignment in eastern Ukraine. Throughout her career, Mia has always worked to promote women's rights - an area of particular interest has been the position and the role of women and women's organisations in conflict and disasters.
Mia has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in European Integration and a Master of Arts in Eastern European Studies from the Public Affairs and Policy Management faculty at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. She also has technical training as a NGO development trainer.
