Oak Foundation commits its resources to addressing issues of global social and environmental concern, particularly those that have a major impact on the lives of the disadvantaged. Oak has its main administrative office in Geneva, Switzerland and a presence in seven other countries: Bulgaria, Denmark, India, Tanzania, the UK, the US and Zimbabwe.
The Child Abuse Programme of Oak Foundation is a grant-making programme to stop the sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children. Ending violence against children requires strong political commitment and the participation of civil society. The changes we would like to see in each of our priority countries include an increased focus on the prevention of all forms of violence, including risk reduction and strength-building strategies in government agencies and the civil society. With this vision we aim to contribute to the development of a violence-prevention grant-making strategy in Bulgaria in the coming three to five years.
To this end, we are seeking a highly creative and participatory consultant to inform, engage and guide Oak, partners and allies to put violence prevention on the political agenda in Bulgaria. To find out more, click here.
