William Duke joined Oak Foundation in 2009 as the Programme Assistant for the Special Interests Programme. He has also been involved in various communications projects for the Foundation and works part-time with the Communications team.
Prior to joining Oak Foundation, he worked for the World Health Organization (WHO), in the HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Health and Research departments working in administrative and communication roles. This was preceded by employment with the International Secretariat for Defence for Children International (DCI), again in Geneva, from 2004 -2006 where he was working in similar roles. He graduated from the University of Sussex in 2003 with a B.A. in communications.
