Programme Officer, International

Anastasia Anthopoulos joined Oak Foundation in 2004 as a Programme Officer. In this role, she manages the international portfolio of Child Abuse Programme grants. The portfolio funds organisations working specifically on sexual abuse and exploitation of children internationally. She also assists organisations that work in child protection, private sector, child mobility or work with men to address the sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Anastasia’s main interest is to find new/other/better strategies in grant-making to increase the visibility and support to children rights and address sexual violence.
Prior to joining Oak Foundation, Anastasia is worked with children, families and communities in various countries with a focus on children's wellbeing for many years. Most of Anastasia’s experience has been in Central and Eastern Europe and Afghanistan in the Central Asian region in both development and emergency programmes.
