Amanda Beswick joined Oak Foundation in 2002 as Programme Officer for the Housing and Homelessness Programme. Amanda currently holds the position of Director of the Housing and Homelessness Programme.
Prior to joining Oak Foundation, Amanda’s work experience focused on NGOs in the UK, predominately working with people with mental health issues and people in housing need. She has worked in a range of settings providing direct support to individuals, but latterly has been concerned with initiating service developments and policy implementation. Amanda has experienced the world of philanthropy both as a fund-raiser and a grant-maker.
Amanda has a Bachelor of Art in Psychology and an Master of Science in Policy Studies.
