Centro Brasileiro da Criança e do Adolescente
To continue to provide a vast array of rehabilitation services to 130 abused girls seeking help from Casa de Passagem in Recife, Brazil. The aim is to improve the girls’ physical and mental health, reintegrate them with their families where possible and, address instances of family domestic violence and abuse. The centre will further enable girls to access education, offer them artistic and cultural activities, foster community involvement and, market products and handicraft produced by them. Instituto Promundo
To support research into the links between gender norms and masculinity on different forms of sexual exploitation and abuse of girls and young women in Brazil. Furthermore to create a strategy for working with the media to develop a plan for a multi-media campaign to engage boys and men in preventing the sexual exploitation and abuse of girls and young women. (Over two years)

Nanban
To help Nanban transfer its child protection and resilience know-how to three peer NGOs working with children from the lowest ranks of Tamil Nadu society in India. The project will help vulnerable children build their capacities and resist destructive influences. (Over two years)

Third World Movement Against the Exploitation of Women
To help this Philippines-based organisation identify young and adult victims of commercial sexual exploitation and provide them with long-term help to assist their reintegration into society. This grant also supports the organisation’s advocacy activities and its efforts to build its fundraising capacity. (Over three years)
