Big Brothers/Big Sisters Foundation
To support the continuation of the organisation’s programme to prevent child abuse and violence in six institutions in Plovdiv and Haskovo and to assist in the integration of victims into mainstream schooling. (Over two years)

Partners Bulgaria Foundation
To enable young people leaving social care institutions to achieve a better quality of life and a strengthened capacity to protect themselves from abuse. (Over three years)

Samaritans Association
To provide temporary refuge, 24-hour protection, psycho-social support and rehabilitation to children and women who are victims of violence, forced prostitution or trafficking.

Social Activities and Practices Institute
To support the building of professional capacity to permit the delivery of social services to children and families in seven districts of central and northern Bulgaria. (Over three years)

To further develop and strengthen the professional community in the sphere of child protection and to support a special centre for direct work with abused children and adolescents. (Second year of two-year grant)

To promote best practices in child protection in North-East Bulgaria. (Second year of three-years grant)

Resource Center "New Alternative"
To build up a network of regional help lines for children and their subsequent unification into a national line for children and adolescents and to develop additional services for meeting children’s needs through direct programmes such as direct medical assistance, safe accommodation, legal protection, and education. (Second year of three-year grant)
